Our mission is to bring lesser performed musicals and plays to audience members who yearn to be challenged, shocked, scared or simply amused. We believe in the promotion of new and original work, but also the rediscovery of quality material that maybe under appreciated.

Our mission is to bring lesser performed musicals and plays to audience members who yearn to be challenged, shocked, scared or simply amused. We believe in the promotion of new and original work, but also the rediscovery of quality material that maybe under appreciated.
We support #BlackLivesMatter and BIPOC theatre artists, as well as theatre artists of the LGBTQ+ community. As we safely move back into production, we will continue to create opportunities for equity, diversity, and inclusion on and off stage, and in the stories we tell.

Doctuh Mistuh was founded in Austin, TX in 2009. DMP is known for bringing Off-Broadway shows to the ATX, which may never had been seen by theatre enthusiasts of that great city. It has presented the regional premieres of such shows as NEVERMORE, SILENCE, HEATHERS, BLOODY BLOODY ANDREW JACKSON & EVIL DEAD.
DMP is also producing in Dur

DMP is also producing in Durango, CO. They recently worked with the Durango Arts Center, and will be producing their first production in May & June 2023.

Storyville is our DMP producing partner in the Big Easy and functions under the DMP umbrella. The company plans to continue the DMP Mission by presenting regional premieres and works that may range from controversial to risqué to having a voice of social justice.

Since presenting its first production (Reefer Madness) in New Orleans, Storyville has presented such works as HAND TO GOD, SILENCE THE MUSICAL, THE LARAMIE PROJECT, and a benefit reading of ANGELS IN AMERICA for World AIDS Day.
